“The Bible is so important to the Christian life that to live without the nourishment of the Word of God is to starve the soul of a believer. The Bible contains all instruction for believers to thrive and operate in obedience to the head of the Church, Jesus Christ. “All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17. The Greek word translated to inspired is theopneustos which is a combination of theos-God and pneō-to breathe, to blow. This means the Bible is “God Breathed”. This is not another book, this is the written Word of God and it is for this reason the preaching of the Bible is central to our worship of the Lord, central to our studies and lessons, and the central authority to all we believe here at Bruce Crossing Bible Church.” -Pastor Chris
